I am a veteran executive leader in hightech, fintech, insurtech and the public sector.
I have led many ground-up initiatives in organizations that broke new ground in online banking, lending, business process automation, decision management, machine learning, cloud platforms and API management.
I have spent much of my career in the B2B space – FISERV, ILOG, IBM, and InRule. In that time, I have spent many, many hours with customers and understand their problems deeply. Then those problems were converted into successful investments that drove revenue -roadmaps, add-ons, products, APIs, packaging, pricing, and improved engagement with partners and analysts.
ACADEMICS
I received my BA from Whitworth University with a focus on quantitative research and statistics. I continued that work at Princeton University’s computing center while completing my M.Div. at Princeton Theological Seminary. I left my doctoral program at the University of Pittsburgh to explore the software industry and never looked back.
I have lectured at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh in the areas of software automation, and occasionally volunteer at the Tepper School of Business.
STANDARDS
I am a founding member of DecisionAutomation.org, which promotes the Decision Management space and DMN as a standard.
